Creature Encounters - (Ticketed Event - Tickets available starting: April 4th.)
Creature Encounters will be presenting our Kick-off Event for National Library Week. They will be bringing tortoises, lizards, tarantulas, and giant cockroaches, along with small and large snakes. They will begin their presentation with a talk about being a pet parent, then they will talk about each of the critters and allow audience members to touch them if they would like. Program will last one hour. Seating is limited to 75 people. Participants must have a ticket to attend; tickets can be picked up beginning April 4.
In the morning and afternoon on Wednesday, April 13, patrons can expand their creative juices with our “Make & Takes”. Materials to make Monster Bookmarks will be available in the morning from 10 am - 12 p.m. and then Anything Goes in the afternoon from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Gardening Class: Natives in the Wasatch Landscape -
Barney Barnett, from Willard Bay Gardens, will be presenting a gardening class on Natives in the Wasatch Landscape.

Two Murder Mystery Noshes will be held Thursday, April 14 - one for teens beginning at 4:00 pm, and one for adults at 7:00 pm. Participants will enjoy finger snacks as they solve a fun literature character based murder mystery. Sign-up is required and a $2 participation fee which will be refunded upon attendance.

Scholastic BOGO Book Fair at Brigham City Library from 10am to 5pm. ‘Open the World of Possible,’ Give your children access to books they want to read. We will have a box for donations of books and money to help the ‘under booked’ in our community build a home library.
With your Book Fair purchase you may enter a raffle for one of three gift baskets of books.

BINGO - People can play BINGO as they explore the library and discover all we have to offer PLUS get a chance to win one of two Fire HD 6" tablets! Only one completed BINGO card allowed per person. Drawing will be held on Monday, April 18 and the winner will be contacted by telephone.
Where’s Teddy? –Biscuit the Puppy needs your help to find the hidden teddy bears. Library visitors are invited to go on a bear hunt at the library! Find a bear and receive a chance to win a giant size puppy and story book. Five teddy bears will be hidden throughout the library; their hiding place will change daily so patrons are invited to visit the library every day and increase their chances to win! Two winners will be selected. Drawing will be held on Monday, April 18 and winners will be contacted by telephone.
